A single flowing surface, sliced into ribs. This bench study begins as a sculpted digital form whose waves are sectioned into equally spaced profiles — each one a flat, CNC-cuttable piece, so a complex curve is built from simple parts. The same script regenerates the form at any length or amplitude, and the material changes its character entirely: warm walnut for a lobby console, monolithic stone for a gallery bench. Computation carries the design from model to machine without redrawing a line.
